40 minutes from Christchurch there is a company that burns between 6 and 8 pallet loads of egg trays per month that are in eggscellent physical condition, but are discarded because of small stains.

Conditions from the supplier:

1. Not available for reuse in the poultry trade.
2. Available only in pallet loads (forklift available)

Potential re-use:  Mulch/weed mats for bark gardens.

Waiora Trust have collected 6 pallet loads for their new show gardens.
